This was our first time flying with #MalindoAir! We have flown with many different budget airlines while traveling in Southeast Asia. We were excited to try out a new airline during our flight from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to Hanoi, Vietnam.

In this #flightreview video, we review our check-in experience, cabin space, entertainment system, inflight service and airline meals! Hope you enjoy! #MalindoFlightReview

  1. It’s not a purely a budget airline. It’s actually a hybrid Premium Low Cost airline. Meaning to say that you pay everything including food, luggage and seats depending on which route. This is based on my experience on the Brisbane to Kuala Lumpur flights via Bali. But they cut cost on certain things such as limited entertainment options, main meals that’s been complemented with snacks rather than proper desserts, and drinks of course. So the prices are generally higher than full budget carriers but lower than full premium airlines. And yes the legroom is generous. Had a Good experience with them.

  2. based on their website "Malindo Air is a PREMIUM airline…." hence your title is misleading as the airline itself does not represent themselves as a budget or LCC airline. Being under the Lion Group their airlines are categorized under "Lion and Wings Air" for LCC and "Batik and Malindo" as premium…many people got these mixed up.

  3. That is so much leg room! I'm not used to seeing that in most planes. But I don't know about going on a Boeing 737…I'm paranoid since all the crashes of that type of plane. But I'm glad you guys landed safety, even if the bathroom was a bit annoying.
